CBC Children's Church
We have an exciting program on Sunday mornings for the children between the ages of 2 and 7. There is a class for the 2-4 year olds and for the 5-7 year olds. We have fun learning about Jesus thru songs, games, and lessons that teach the children and help them to grow in the knowledge of Christ. Our goal is to give the children an environment that they can be comfortable in and have a great time learning about Jesus. The world has so many temptations to offer our kids today. It has been said that most children by the age of 13 have made a decision about their faith and salvation. My prayer is that we will give these children as much knowledge about Jesus Christ as possible and try to win as many souls for the kingdom of Jesus Christ as we can. I have a wonderful group of people who help me every Sunday and I know that together we can REACH A CHILD, REACH A FAMILY AND REACH A COMMUNITY FOR CHRIST!! It is exciting to see what God is doing in the children's ministry already, and I can't wait to see what He has in store for the future.

AWANA is an AWESOME program that we have on Wednesday nights beginning the first Wednesday night in September and it goes thru the end of May. This program has been so exciting for our church. The children come in every Wednesday eager to learn something new about Jesus! We have seen our Wednesday night attendance grow to around 60 kids thru this program. We look for God to give us even more growth this coming year. I would love to see over 100 children running around the hallways of CBC! Not for the number, but because we need to be giving every effort to bring these children to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. AWANA is made up of four groups:
Puggles is for children at the age of 2 year old.
Cubbies is for the children between the ages of 3 - 4 years old.
Sparks is for grades Kindergarten thru 2nd grade.
The last group is T&T and this group is for grades 3rd-6th.
The children have lesson time where they are taught about Jesus, handbook time which is a time for the children to work on scripture memorization, and game time where they just get to have a great time of fellowship but also learn about working as a team. Speaking of working as a team...I have a wonderful group of people who are dedicated to this program and love giving of their time for these children and for Jesus. We meet on Wednesday nights for this program at 6:45pm and it is over at 8:30pm. It is a great program for the children and my prayer is that we will see many young souls won to Christ!!
