Our purpose is to glorify God in all that we do as we attempt to carry out the ministry He has given to us. We desire to exalt God as we praise Him in worship. We believe that God is glorified through praise that is unique from the normal venue of entertainment in the world. Because God is uniquely different than the world, we believe that accurate praise of Him must also be distinct.
Furthermore, we seek to give glory to God by teaching and preaching His Word. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, free from error, preserved for time and eternity, and is profitable for conforming and transforming us to a Godly standard.
Therefore, in each service the preaching and teaching of the Bible is the central focus. It is our desire for people to leave from services at Community Baptist Church knowing more about God, knowing more about themselves in light of God's Word, and excited about returning to exalt Him in praise.
Finally, our purpose of glorifying God at Community is achieved when we live out the principles of God's Word in life. We believe that the Bible is our authority for practice as well as teaching. For this cause, we are confident you will find practical application of Biblical principles in the preaching services and in our Sunday School classes.
