Nursery
CBC is now providing a new class for all nursery age kids....Ages 0 months - 1yrs. This will allow parents the opportunity to go into their Sunday School classes and to grow in their relationships with Christ. This will also prepare kids at a very early age to be ready for the Preschool class as they turn 3 years of age. Our prayer is that this will free up the parents with infants and up to 3 years of age to also be involved in the Sunday School program here at CBC.

Preschool
Hi! Our names are Sherry and Trent Holman and we are the preschool Sunday School teachers here at Community. The ages for this class are 3-5 years old. This is a challenging class to work with; but we love to see their smiling faces as they enter the room. This class is always eager and full of energy. Each one holds a special place in our hearts.
This year we will be starting a 52 week curriculum called the ABC's of the Bible. These lessons will introduce a new Bible character each week. We will have a Bible story/lesson, activities and crafts for each lesson. Also, there are take-home pages so the parents will see what their child has learned.
We are planning some activities and fun days for this age group to be involved in throughout the year. This past December we did a "Polar Express Pajama Party".
We would love to have the opportunity to teach your child about Jesus and to have your child be a part of the preschool class.

Elementary School
I teach the elementary school kids at our church. Every Sunday I try to have a lesson and a craft that goes along with the lesson. The kids love to be involved and welcome everyone that comes into their class. We would love to have you this Sunday for Sunday School

Our names are Jason and Jennifer Mize and we teach the middle school age. We are currently doing a lesson plan over day-to-day situations in teenagers lives. We do several outing throughout the year. The kids really enjoy the lessons and are very interactive. We hope to see you this Sunday.

Youth II
We want to welcome you to our class. We have several things for your teenager to be involved in. Every Sunday we meet during Sunday School. We also meet on Wednesday night for Bible Study. The Youth has a outing atleast once a month and do fundraisers for the church and youth group.Come join us as we see the Youth grow.
Young Adult
It’s just wonderful to have the opportunity to lead this group into a closer walk with the Lord. We have young adults with and without children that participate in this ministry. Recently moving into our new classroom, we’ve experienced a wonderful time of fellowship and growth. Come and join us as we dive into God's word. Each week we take a special approach to the lesson and allow God to speak to each of us in a special way. Have your spirits lifted and your faith strengthened each and every week. Come and join us and let’s see how Gods word can be applied to the improvement of your life.

For those ages 50 and up....we have an exciting place for you on Sunday mornings at CBC. This group always has the most fun, every time we are together. And the class continues to be very interesting and informative through the devotions and class discussions. We are also a very active group with outings such as bowling, dinner and movie nights at the church, trips to the North Georgia mountains and the Smith House, the Redd House and BBQ Rib cookouts at Victoria Bryant State Park. We anticipate a very exciting year in 2009...first and foremost as we "dig a little deeper" into God's Word...along with a great time of fellowship and friendship.
